Every MA1×MA2 crossover, backtested and ranked by real cost-adjusted return — then checked against data it never saw.
New to this? 30-second primer

A moving average smooths a price series over N days. A crossover strategy buys when a faster moving average rises above a slower one, and sells when it falls back below — the idea being a fast average reacts to a new trend before a slow one does.

A “pair” means one MA1/MA2 combination — e.g. MA20/MA85 compares a 20-day average against an 85-day one. This tool tests every pair in a range and ranks them by how they’d have performed.

“Walk-forward” means picking the winning pair using only older data, then checking it against newer data it never saw — the closest thing to an honest test without actually trading it live.

None of this is investment advice — it’s a backtest of a simple mechanical rule against history, which is a different thing from a prediction about the future.
